Death-Glorious Ship
These pieces are derrived
from the themes I've been regarding in my current course of book reading.
Some are multi-tracked while others are impromptu single takes.
The project was the representation of sound from the begining of a voyage through
the destruction, desolation, and resolve of a man aboard.

One Guitar
Studio improvisations using one guitar, effects pedals, and objects.
These pieces are studies
of the electric guitar and how it can be manipulated, with no definition
other than how my hands operated.

Piano Discord
An impromptu performance, using a partially destroyed upright piano.
Visiting a friend's
studio, he showed me the piano on a floor being renovated for apartments.
Later, I came back to use the piano for a recorded performance.
Three tracks were
recorded; the first was me vulturing the carcass for sounds and parts.
Tracks two and three are "musical" explorations with the strings.

All About the Weather
This album is a work in progress
based on the book of the same title
by Ivan Ray Tannehill and
illustrated by Rene Martin.
The project is an interpretation of the 1953 book written for middle-school
age children.
Using the chapter titles as the song titles, the illustrations as album art,
and sections of text as spoken word/ lyrics; the idea is to recreate the book
as a new work of art. Where the original text was intended to teach children
about meteorology, my project is purely for enjoying as an art piece.
The sounds range from melodic to drone to concrete and noise.

songs written since 2003.
These songs are primarily based in acoustic drone and electric folk styles.
